Daniels Mill Flour!

I realised earlier today that I'd never posted about the water mill that is very close to my house, they produce the most wonderful stone ground flour. The actual mill is a beautiful tourist attraction in its own right and has been in the same family for over 300 years. here is the link.

They sell bags of flour in different sizes ranging from tiny to 1.5kg, as a tourist attraction they only open during the summer months but the flour is available to buy from there door all year round.

Here is another link which shows some beautiful pictures of the mill, click here.

You can also telephone them on: 01746 762753.

The mill was badly hit by last summers flood and they are trying to raise money to carry on with the repair work, so if you are in the area please pay them a visit.

I have made lovely bread, cakes and biscuits using this flour I will post one of the recipes later.
